The Picasso films directed and produced by Edward Quinn

Edward Quinn has made two films about Picasso. Picasso, a Portrait (62 min.) and Picasso, the Man and his Work (140 min.). Both are based on Quinn's photographs, the longer, a chronological examination of the artist's personal and creative development, uses home movies and still photographs and audio interviews with important personalities from Picasso's circle. It was praised by Picasso's widow for its exemplary honesty and creativity.

The two film scripts and the films in individual parts are published below. Picasso, a Portrait in the English version and Picasso, the man and his Work in the French version under the title Picasso, l'homme et son oeuvre.
