During the Cannes Film Festival in 1954, Silvana Mangano invited her friend Gina Lollobrigida to her house La Casa del Mare. Silvana incited Gina to play the popular game of Pétanque. However Gina soon found out that her Sunday frock might not be ideal for that game. Roquebrune-Cap-Martin 1954.
