Stirling Moss and Peter Collins. Monaco Grand Prix 1957. Peter Collins came to be seen as one of the three British 'wonder boys' with Stirling Moss and Mike Hawthorn. Moss and Collins were friends from 1949, Hawthorn came on the scene sometime later, and by 1958 all were first rank Grand Prix and sports car drivers. Collins known very much as the 'boy' , because of his youthful good looks and bubbly spirit, he was determined to be successful at what he had chosen to do.
